Hello 🙂 We are Max & Mia, an adventure-loving couple from England who have spent the last five years exploring the world together.Â

We started this site in 2024 to share our most unforgettable experiences: from navigating the mountains and deserts of Oman in a 4×4 with a roof tent (our favourite trip to date) to our most recent journey into Turkmenistan, one of the hardest countries on Earth to visit (written post coming soon!).

The Next Chapter: SWL Expeditions
We will always keep publishing our tried and tested itineraries, but we are now growing the Sloths With Latitude brand. What does that actually mean?

It means we are now offering tours. This comes in two forms:
Independent Trips: We provide itineraries to any destination we have already been to, using only the hotels, tours, and accommodation that we have personally approved. We handle all the tricky logistics so you can just turn up and enjoy the adventure.
Guided Expeditions: We offer private, guided trips to Turkmenistan using our own reliable, personal connections on the ground.
